Educator | SEL Leader | Mental Health Advocate | Consultant | Equity Champion
I’m Alicia Sewell — a passionate, purpose-driven educator with over 13 years of experience leading from the classroom to district-level innovation. My journey includes working with PreK to 6th grade, instructional technology, professional development, and leadership in social-emotional learning and equity-driven practices. I believe in whole-child education and comprehensive support for teachers.
As a proud Black educator and a child of resilience, I’ve dedicated myself to empowering students and teachers by creating inclusive, engaging, and transformative systems. Whether designing curriculum, mentoring teachers, launching SEL initiatives, or using digital tools to improve instruction, I lead with heart and intention.
I’m expanding my impact through educational consulting, mental health advocacy, content creation, and launching my own LLC. I support schools, organizations, and educators in implementing impactful SEL and mental health strategies, integrating educational technology with purpose, and strengthening literacy instruction across the K–12 spectrum.
My consulting work includes:
• SEL and mental health program development
• Trauma-informed and equity-centered teaching practices
• K–12 literacy coaching and curriculum design
• EdTech integration and digital learning strategy
• Professional development and educator wellness support
I am also deeply committed to supporting educators, especially those of color, leading equity-focused conversations, and fostering sustainable, systemic change in schools and communities. My mission is simple: to help students and educators not just succeed, but thrive—socially, emotionally, and academically.
